New South Wales | South Coast and Southern Tablelands expecting severe weather

According to the Bureau of Meteorology, a Severe Weather Warning for flash flooding is current for the South Coast and the Southern Tablelands. A Flood Watch is also current.

The Bureau of Meteorology advise that there is a greater than 70% chance of local flash flooding as well as minor to moderate river flooding developing in the following river valleys from Friday onwards:

1. Moruya

2. Tuross

3. Bega

4. Towamba

5. Queanbeyan Molonglo

The NSW SES are urging people who live and work along the affected rivers and streams to lift pumps and to relocate livestock and equipment to higher ground. Never drive, ride or walk through floodwater.
