West Midlands | Six people injured in RTC in Warwickshire

Six people have been taken to hospital following a road traffic collision in Warwickshire yesterday.
West Midlands Ambulance service was called to reports of a two car road traffic collision on Fosse Way in Moreton Morrell at approximately 5.30pm yesterday afternoon.
Three ambulances, a rapid response vehicle, two paramedic officers and two Midlands Air Ambulances; one carrying a doctor from Cosford and a second from Strensham were dispatched to the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival at the scene crews found two cars that had been in collision.
“The first car was carrying a single occupant at the time of the incident. The woman believed to be in her 20’s, was treated at the scene for arm injuries and suspected pelvic and internal injuries. The woman was fully immobilised and airlifted to University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire.
“The second vehicle was carrying five occupants at the time of the incident; two adults, one man and one woman and three children. All five occupants were treated for minor injuries at the scene before being conveyed to Warwick Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
“Due to nature of the incident, the man who was the driver of the vehicle was fully immobilised as a precaution.”
