Ontario CA–As a precautionary measure, Montalvan’s Sales, Inc. of Ontario, CA has voluntarily recalled “La Nuestra” brand frozen mamey pulp due to a potential health risk from Salmonella Typhi. Typhoid fever is a life-threatening illness caused by the bacterium Salmonella Typhi. Salmonella Typhi lives only in humans.
