At first I felt self-conscious when signing my thanks to a  \t\tsoldier however after seeing their reactions that salute\/sign has become  \t\ta regular feature of my \u2018vocabulary\u2019 when I cross paths with someone  \t\tcourageous enough to don the military uniform and volunteer to serve.<\/p>\n<p>Expressing my thanks  \t\tvia such a simple gesture never fails to elicit a significant smile or  \t\twave or expression of surprise from the soldier. And it never fails to  \t\tmake my day seem just a bit brighter.<\/p>\n<p>The gesture  \t\ttranscends borders and politics.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the link to  \t\tthe Gratitude Campaign. Check it out.
